With the recent evolution Razz wanted to see just how well Royal could handle himself. Honestly he knew just fine considering he went up against skyler dross's dewott just fine. Though he still wanted the frog to get used to his new body so with new access to a safari he may as well kill to pidgey with one stone.

Seems their first encounter would be the odd little dancing birds. In a group they dance and Royal was looking for a challenge though he seemed to go ignored. In fact they seemed to favor Salem more who jumped in to try their dancing out. Royal pouted from being ignored but it was clear they had no interest in fighting. So once Salem was done trying to learn a new dance they would move on.

With Salem dancing the cat nor birds had much warning before a Shellos decided to have some fun with its muddy water. Royal coming in to defend the group with Water Pledge to create a wall. Afterward sending off water Shuriken to scare off the snail like creature. Okay yes message received! Shellos was going to leave now thanks.

With a quick goodbye to his new dancing buddies Salem joins Royal and their trainer once more to travel into the safari. Pink seeming to be everywhere as the sun was going down making near everything dark. Not that that bothered any of them as Royal was part dark type, and salem feline senses made moving in the dark easy. Razz would've put on his flash light if not for the shining pink from a small distance. Curious he chose to take a look and seen several dancing Minior surrounding another. [break][break]

Curious Razz goes forward to see what they were surrounding. At his presense the other Minior were quick to flee, leaving what it was they were surrounding open. All for him to see an injured one embedded into the ground looking stuck. It gave a weak cry as he could see it struggle but it wasn't budging. "Don't worry I can help you out," the ranger offered as he tried grabbing onto them. He pulled but it wasn't moving much. It wasn't until Royal tried pulling with him that they started to get it loose. It was Salem's psychic push that ended up finally pulling it free. [break][break]

They do seem very grateful toward the ranger for their help. After some translation from Salem he found out how their so called 'friends' were making fun of them for being stuck and how they've been stuck for days. Razz offers them a quick snack via PokeBlock before offering to come with him instead of staying with their 'friends.' After using the safari ball to catch them officially.

Now bring free from the ground the Minior was wanting to move about rather than be stuck in a ball. Something that he was fine with as the little rock seemed excited about wanting to show off his old home to the Ranger. For now skipping the little hat pokemon that was passing by.

During their tour by the Minior they encounter a ponyta, one that the little flying rock hides behind as it seems like they were scared of her for some reason. Wonder what happened there to make them afraid? Though they were trapped in the ground so maybe a few trampled them. Either way no ponyta today.

The tour kept going and for a while Razz drifted in attention as he kept an eye out. Meanwhile Salem tried to see if the Minior was big enough to ride so he could ride a literal metor and after climbing on the rock semed to tumble and roll in the air and it seemed more like those games where youre trying to stay on a mechanical bull which makes the ranger chuckle. Once again their antics distracting them from the Pokemon around them.
